Everyone’s a geek in some way, but certain people just choose to hide it.
Geeks and proud!
Amélie (2001)
“I like to turn around in the dark to see the faces of the people around. And I also like to spot the little detail nobody will ever see. But I don’t like it when the driver doesn’t watch the road.”
“Amélie doesn’t have a boyfriend. She tried, but it didn’t live up to her expectations. On the other hand, she enjoys all sorts of little pleasures, putting her hand in a bag of seeds, piercing the crust of crème brûlée, with the tip of a spoon. And play at ducks and drakes on the Saint-Martin-canal.”
“Make it a powerful memory, the happiest you can remember. Allow it to fill you up… Just remember, your patronus can only protect you as long as you stay focused… think of the happiest thing you can.”

Day Twelve - Favorite scene in A Scandal in Belgravia: When I say run, RUN!
I can say this scene is one of the best moments of the whole show.
I agree - and it’s so awesome to watch how his gaze just intensifies
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)
So, here is a riddle to guess if you can, sing the bells of Notre Dame: What makes a monster and what makes a man? Whatever their pitch, you feel them bewitch you, the rich and the ritual knells of the bells of Notre Dame.
OK, well, if I’m not mistaken, this was a failed attempt to capture a young French girl named Adriana, from Bordeaux, if my art history serves me, who came to Paris to study costume design for the theater. I’m pretty sure she had an affair with Modigliani, then Braque, which is how Pablo met her. Picasso. Of course, what you don’t gets rom this portrait is the subtlety, and her beauty. She was just a knock-out. I’d hardly call this picture marvelous, it’s more of a petit-bourgeois statement on how Pablo sees her. Saw her. He’s distracted by the fact absolute volcano in the sack.
Fifteen Favourite Musicals: Spring Awakening (01/15)
Giving yourself over to someone else, defending yourself until finally you surrender and feel heaven break over you. Just put yourself in her place, and imagine.

Ya’aburnee
Arabic – Both morbid and beautiful at once, this incantatory word means “You bury me,” a declaration of one’s hope that they’ll die before another person because of how difficult it would be to live without them.
